My Brush with a Celebrity - 908 Words

The day started off as a normal Tuesday in April with the exception that today was the start of DC Cas week. I was anxious and nervous but ready for the DC Cas because I’ve been waiting all year for this big day and now that day had finally came and I was more ready than I could have ever be. My teachers had been preparing me for this day and I wasn’t going to let them down. After waking up I got dressed in my uniform hopping that today would be a good day and not aware of what was yet to come. After getting dressed I proceeded to breakfast where the big news came. As I walked in the cafeteria for breakfast I noticed that the vibe was very different. She gave me lots of hugs and she smelled so sweet but then the moment I was waiting for. President Barack Obama walked down the aisle looking very spiffy. My first thought was â€Å"Boy isn’t he tall† but once he got to me I choked up and began to cry and shake his hand like crazy because this moment was so unrealistic and I was the happiest girl in Washington, D.C. at that moment. After Obama then came Joe Bidden and his wife. I wasn’t really happy to see them but the person after them had me at a loss for words. Former President Bill Clinton walked down the aisle and I almost died. I was ecstatic when I saw him and couldn’t stop shaking his hand.
